Use a standard RJ45 UTP patch cable to connect your studio!
CAT5 or greater cabling is perfect for balanced digital and audio interconnections. It is so good it actually out-performs expensive audio cabling.
Simply run UTP patch cable between your equipment, then choose any StudioHUB adapters or panel you require.
The XLR Double panel is a passive module which interfaces balanced equipment to your studio. It features two XLR connections, and is available in three versions
Two XLR Male (outputs)
Maybe be used in stereo operation where on board jumpers set the two StudioHub+ RJ45 audio connections to paralleled and the XLRs are left and right output. Mono operation sets each StudioHub+ RJ45 audio connection to be fed from an XLR.
Two XLR Female (inputs)
Maybe be used in stereo operation where on board jumpers set the two StudioHub+ RJ45 audio connections to paralleled and the XLRs are left and right inputs. Mono operation sets each XLR to be fed from a seperate StudioHub+ RJ45 audio connection. This is useful when sending two microphones down seperate STP CAT5 cables.
One XLR Male and One XlR Female
There are two StudioHub+ RJ45 audio connections, one for each XLR connector. No jumper settings are available to mix signals on this version.
