Ideally Suited to Single Transmitter Sites
The Davicom MicroMAC is a lower cost alternative to the larger MAC 208 and 216 models, designed specifically to meet the requirements of most single Transmitter sites.
It boasts the same input capabilities of the MAC 208, albiet with slightly less audio monitoring capabilities and eight relay outputs. This device allows for a cost effective starting point in deploying Davicom Monitoring and Alarm systems yet allows for comprehensive expansion using the MEXM.
Telephone jack allows remote control/monitoring/interrogation through landline. Monitor audio inputs live over the phone and send commands using DTMF tones;
Serial port IOIOI-2 allows remote control/monitoring/interrogation through a GSM, satellite or landline external Hayes-compatible modem.
Serial port to connect to a laptop or PDA2 (from the MiniMAC’s front panel);
Stereo headphone jack to locally monitor audio inputs (from the MiniMAC’s front panel).
Auxiliary serial port can control an on-site ancillary equipment in pass-through mode;
Auxiliary serial port can monitor for specific alphanumeric strings from an on-site ancillary equipment 3.
USB port to connect, for example: external memory for data logging, an external modem, etc.3
Davicom’s MAC is ideal for single site applications or can easily be integrated into a wider network environment using e-mail, phone (voice or SMS), SNMP traps, modem or to the optional MacNET Multi-Site alarm management software.
software and firmware are upgradeable on all Davicom MAC products ensuring this devise will meet your current and foreseeable future site monitoring requirements.
